Role Overview

CyberNet is seeking an experienced ERP Systems & Operations Administrator to ensure our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (Odoo) fully supports the business and its users. This role is solely focused on maximizing the adoption, integrity, and performance of our fully customized Odoo ERP system, which is the central nervous system of our operations.

This is not a generalist ERP role—Odoo expertise is required. You'll be the primary point of contact for integrating, supporting, and expanding our Odoo platform across all departments. Your mission: ensure that our Odoo instance is clean, consistent, fully utilized, and strategically aligned with the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • ERP System Administration: Administer, configure, and maintain the Odoo ERP system to meet business needs. Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and ensure system security and uptime.

-Departmental Integration: Align Odoo workflows and modules with the real-world operations of departments like Finance, Operations, Sales, and Support. Specifically, the role will work deeply across the following Odoo modules: Sales, Subscriptions, CRM, Manufacturing, Accounting, Inventory, Purchasing, and Field Service. Translate operational needs into Odoo-based solutions tailored to these modules and ensure each is fully leveraged by its respective department.

    - Odoo User Training & Support: Deliver high-quality onboarding and training to Odoo users across the company. Develop Odoo-specific user guides and documentation. Serve as a frontline resource for all Odoo-related inquiries

    - Change Management in Odoo: Lead Odoo-specific change initiatives. Ensure new modules, updates, and enhancements are communicated, understood, and adopted. Manage feedback loops from users and iterate on solutions.

    - Data Governance in Odoo: Conduct regular data audits. Enforce standards for field usage, entry formatting, and workflow integrity. Eliminate spreadsheet-based workarounds in favor of centralized, accurate ERP data.

  • - Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data integrity within the ERP through routine data audits and maintenance. Manage data import/exports and integrations with other software, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information. Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for teams (e.g. inventory, financial, KPI reports), and support ad-hoc data analysis requests.

    - Technical Coordination: Technical Coordination: Use tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence to track feature requests, bug fixes, and release plans. Test and validate all updates before deployment.

-ERP Improvement Projects: Own continuous improvement of the Odoo platform. Identify underutilized modules, propose improvements, and lead rollouts.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with department leads to scope enhancements or fixes. Partner with internal and external developers to manage customization pipelines.
